Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MeowMD website and application (the "Service"), operated by AL WASI LLC ("we," "us," "our"). MeowMD is a DBA of AL WASI LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MeowMD is an AI-powered feline health education and triage platform. It provides AI health checks, a Cat Health Score, photo checks, a food scanner, reminders, Cat-Chat™ messages, behavior-training guidance, and — on eligible plans — access to licensed veterinarians for telehealth consultations. The Service is designed to inform and support cat parents.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be an adult capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• MeowMD offers a Free plan and paid plans (MeowMD Plus and MeowMD Premium), billed monthly in U.S. dollars.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your plan converts to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period. You may cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or resell any part of the Service.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or that infringes others' rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Rely on the Service in place of emergency veterinary care.

5. Telehealth Consultations

Where the Service provides access to licensed veterinarians, those consultations are informational and subject to the professional judgment and jurisdictional limits of the veterinarian. A telehealth session may not establish a formal veterinarian-client-patient relationship in every jurisdiction and cannot replace an in-person examination when one is needed.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, design, text, graphics, logos, the MeowMD name and marks, Cat-Chat™, Whiskers Voice Chat™, and all other materials in the Service are owned by or licensed to AL WASI LLC and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your cat's information and photos) and grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated guidance will be complete or suitable for your specific situation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AL WASI LLC and its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AL WASI LLC from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which AL WASI LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute not subject to arbitration, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
